Sunday Worship

The church meets at 10:30 Sunday mornings for worship, instruction and fellowship. Our services are characterized by opportunities to participate in both traditional and contemporary music, prayer and the reading and teaching from scripture.

Sunday School

Our Sunday School is a wonderful place for children and young people to learn more about God through studying the Bible.  Classes are held each Sunday morning during part of our morning worship service.

Musical training and rehearsals

Music is an important component of our church. We enjoy traditional and contemporary supported by a brass band and a choir. Tuesday nights our Church is a beehive of activity for all ages, ranging from the very young to the more mature, developing their musical skills to assist and participate in our Sunday worship service and other events.  Our Worship Teams rehearse at various times during the week.

Small Group Ministries

We believe it’s important to know and apply God’s word in your everyday life. We have several groups for all ages at various places and times. If you are looking for a friendly and supportive environment to help with your spiritual, emotional and practical needs, we encourage you to get involved in one or more of these groups.

Seniors Ministries

If you are looking for fellowship, fun and activity, the Young at Heart is the place for you.  The Young at Heart is a ministry for active seniors age 55+.  Their meetings include floor curling, board games, special guests and outings. Also, lunch is provided at a cost of $4.00 per person.

Women’s Ministries

We have several opportunities for women to enjoy the company, fellowship and support of others. You could attend a women’s Bible study the first and third Thursday of each month. The Ladies’ Book Club meets once a month and all are invited to join.  The Cross Stitchers, a prayer blanket ministry who meet every second Monday, is an opportunity for an evening of fellowship while showing God’s love in a practical way.  Also, an annual Women’s Retreat is held in the Fall at The Salvation Army’s Pine Lake Camp.

Men’s Ministries

Every second month meet for breakfast and get to know how men like you are facing similar challenges and who are experiencing victory in their lives. Men’s Bible Study is held the first and third Thursday of the month. Come and bring a friend. You won’t want to miss out on the annual Men’s Retreat that takes place in June of each year at The Salvation Army’s Pine Lake Camp.

Physical Fitness and Fellowship

Join the Walking and Running Club that meets every Saturday morning at 9:30 am at Glenmore Landing, across from McDonald’s. Get healthy and fit and enjoy fellowship with others who have a similar interest.

Youth Ministries

If you are looking for fellowship, fun, growing in God’s Word, developing and strengthening friendships, this is the place for you.  Come and participate in youth group or Bible Study activities.

Community Care Ministries

We believe it’s our responsibility to reach out to and care for the lonely, hurting and sick.  The CCM is a group of individuals who respond to the spiritual and social needs of people living at home or in care facilities such as hospitals or residential care homes.  They help to alleviate their loneliness and hurt by sharing a cheery smile, offering friendly words of encouragement, opportunities to share in scripture reading and prayer, a small gift or treat, together with good Christian reading material.  This is showing Christ’s love in action.
